Lifo.cy Interview with Oneticket.cy Directors Andreas and Sotiris

Lifo.cy: Andreas and Sotiris, could you tell us why you came up with this idea?

Andreas: Sure! Initially, we got a ticketing project for an institution, and we had to dive deep into the ticketing market. We realized there weren’t many competitors back then, and the existing platforms had limited features.

Sotiris: Exactly. We saw the enormous potential in online ticketing and felt there was a gap we could fill. We discussed the idea extensively, built a business plan, tweaked it a lot, and eventually, Oneticket.cy was born.

Lifo.cy: Can you please let us know why your platform is different?

Andreas: We don’t claim to have a completely unique platform, but we do focus on the small details that make a big difference. We designed it specifically for the local market, which allows us to constantly tweak and improve it, adding new services and customizing appearances for different events.

Sotiris: Another key aspect is our emphasis on customer service. We know everyone makes mistakes, but we’re always there to fix them. Many competitors overlook customer service, but for us, it’s a top priority. We want organizers, regardless of their size, to save time and hassle by using our platform.

Andreas: That’s right. Organizers can also sell additional products like bracelets, T-shirts, or cardholders through our platform. Plus, we understand the importance of event promotion, so we leverage our local network, including great partners like you at Lifo.cy, to help organizers get the word out.

Lifo.cy: Thanks for the kind words and for choosing us as a partner. Last question: since we’ll interview you again later, can you clarify the fees that customers pay? It seems a bit unclear to many people.

Sotiris: Absolutely. We agree it can be confusing. Here’s the breakdown: First, there’s the cost of the ticket itself, which is set by the organizer. Then, there’s a card processing fee, which is usually a percentage of the ticket price and goes directly to the card provider. Lastly, there’s the platform fee, which is the amount we charge for our service. This fee is prearranged with the organizer.

Andreas: We hope that clears things up! We’re always here to answer any questions and ensure our users understand exactly what they’re paying for.
